How do I get started?+
Download Woltap on any device — iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, or Windows. Then contact our team and we'll handle the sign-up, import your existing data if you have any, and walk you through the setup. Reach us on WhatsApp (UK, Malta, Pakistan) or at info@woltrap.com.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes — every paid plan includes a 15-day Premium trial so you can see everything Woltap offers before committing. No card required to start the trial.
Can I use Woltap without internet?+
Absolutely. Woltap is offline-first. Sales, inventory updates, and account transactions all work without a connection. The moment your internet returns, everything syncs automatically.
Which printers does Woltap support?+
Any thermal receipt printer that uses ESC/POS commands — Munbyn, Xprinter, Goojprt, Epson, and most generic 58mm thermal printers. Connect via Bluetooth, USB, LAN (TCP port 9100), or your computer's system print dialog.
Can multiple staff use Woltap on different devices?+
Yes — on Premium and above. Each device shows up in your Settings → Devices. Promote one as the primary admin device; others can run as read-only viewers so cashiers can't accidentally void orders.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
We keep it for 90 days in case you change your mind, then permanently delete it. You can also export everything as JSON or CSV from the Settings page anytime.
Is my customers' data secure?+
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never store credit card numbers — only the payment method type. We never share or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I switch from another POS?+
Yes — email us at info@woltrap.com with a CSV of your existing items and customers, and we'll help import them into Woltap.
What does the "captive portal detected" warning mean?+
Some Wi-Fi networks (hotels, cafés) intercept your connection until you log in via a browser page. Woltap detects this and warns you so you don't try to sell while sync is silently broken.
