Why didn't my favorite save?
Favorites are stored on your device. If you delete and reinstall the app, favorites reset. We don't sync them across devices yet.
How do I report a wrong or broken recipe?
Email us with the recipe name and we'll fix or remove it. Include a screenshot if possible.
Why are there ads?
Hostel Bites is free. Ads from Google AdMob keep it that way. You can opt out of personalized ads in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
Where do the recipes come from?
Recipes are sourced from publicly available cooking websites such as Budget Bytes and BBC Good Food. Each recipe links back to its original source — tap the source link to read the full article on the publisher's site.
Can I delete a review I left?
Email us with the recipe name and your display name and we'll remove it.
